Really great track :D Very professional and well polished. The main criticism I have involves the use of too many premade samples like the guitar and some of the percussion, which I usually shun. I usually edit any samples I use so that they are still my own work. Other than that though, great track! Keep it uo ;)

JoarZ responds:

The guitars ain't no samples dude, I made the chords with Realguitar. Silly, but thanks!

how old are we talking?

Lockyn responds:

I think this was 2012? pretty old

Im gonna be generous because your sound design is prettAy decent, but MAAAAN, you need to learn how to mix. I can't hear the drums at all because everything is so damn loud. You need to add sidechains to songs like this so you can hear the kick. Sorry if I'm being a bit harsh, but as a producer you need to focus on mixing more than most other things.

RyanZ-EDM responds:

Sorry I'm bad at making music so

Really cool! Great drum samples and basses :D

KamillasRainbow responds:

Thank You :)

Ah, good old FL Keys. It always has a certain sound now matter how you much you edit it. It's frustrating, really. But yeh, as for the piano ...erm... arrangement itself, its pretty good; I just reckon it would sound better with a better plugin. I used the 40-day trial of TruePianos and that was great! Im currently broke at the moment though so I'll probably have to save up a little, or get of my lazy ass and get a job. Seriously though, you should take a look. Cheers c:

I was planning on putting some money in for Kontakt5 since I tend to use acoustic instruments of several sorts in a lot of projects. Usually never finished, but oh well. Not to mention, however, Kontakt has a really nice piano suite as well as the ability to make/buy ambient pads and stuff for it.

Either way, I completely agree about FL keys kinda sounding like shit. Normally I'd use Nexus2 (Pianos are the only useful thing about it imo) but it's broke as fuck atm. So is Massive, but I'll fix it eventually.

Great Drum and Bass :D Cool synths and percussion. The only problem was the drop. The high bass was pretty annoying. Also, why the airhorn? I understand you need it in the MLG Remixes, but why this?

Ravitex responds:

Glad you enjoyed it! About the airhorns and high bass though: It was also on the original song, so I decided to include it in the remix too.

5:30 for a f***ing preview???? I thought NSD Records were pushing it xD

Lockyn responds:

lololol this version of the track was never finished haha

ive never attempted to experiment with hardstyle, but from what ive heard its REALLY hard(style) to get right. with more experimenting and practice i reckon you could nail it ;)

Ravitex responds:

I kinda agree. I've tried to do hardstyle before, but I failed miserably. This was my best attempt, I guess. But for now, I'm abandoning this project. I won't finish it. I have some other things to do. But maybe I'll come back to it sometime.

You've toned down the chords which is nice, except in the drop, which is not nice. I didn't really like the piano melody, which wasn't helped by the fact of how robotic it sounded. Speaking of which, I ESPECIALLY didn't like the robotic lead in the second lead. While the retro part after that was cool, it really didn't fit the style of song. The drums were pretty cool, and I'd love it if you could direct me to where you got them. Okay, now back to the problems. The melody is way too repetitive. There werent enough variations and the dynamics and flow of the song were kind of off. You should also focus on using more types of percussion (yes i know its a house song) as you only really need that repetitive drum pattern in tbe drop. Usually I would give this sort of thing a four stars, but I'm giving you an extra half star because of the extra though you put into mixing. Remember to use automation clips if youre putting patterns from the drop in quieter parts of the song, and vice versa. Luckily for you, if you don't go into music production in the future you can always go into writing. I honestly hope you don't cos then I'll be lonely. Great job mate ;D

MollusK-Music responds:

Yeah, I'm still kicking myself for leaving that section in at 1:18.
Sadly, I can't tell you where I got the drums, since I actually can't remember for the life of me. Most of my drums, including snares, claps, hats, percussion, are all in the same folder :/ But, If you'd like, I could send you a couple.

Anyway, I appreciate the feedback.

sounding pretty sweet so far :D of course theres alot of rimshots and TURN DOWN THOSE CHORDS!!!!! Other than that it sounds awesme ;) Can you link me to the original song?

MollusK-Music responds:

Haha, you are correct about the rimshots, as well as the chords, but fret not (Ha. Fret; guitar, music... I'm not funny) I am working on both and I have recently adopted a new approach to stuff like that, so no worries. I'm glad you like it so far, because I will most likely keep the structure very similar.

If you want to check out the style I'm going for, check out: MYRNE - Architect.

As for the original, the YT link is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAIDqt2aUek
and the song is incredible.
