pretty good man :D work on the mix:
-cymbals and sound effects are way too loud
-chord stabs during the drop are a tad too loud, overpowering the melody
-some of the piano had too much bass/low-end and tended to clog up the mix
-the mix gets really crowding around 3:30 and during the drops
just fix those things and it'll sound really good. tbh pretty much anything where you don't try to go in heavy sounds perfect, just be really careful when you do.

decent production as per usual. unlike your other songs though, this feels very sparsely produced, with not enough mid and bass, and an over-expression of the highs. bass design is alright - very slushii-like it seems, though the same could be said for the rest of the song. drop organisation is interesting - it sounds like they were made with reggae chords in mind, but you decided against using them as theyre getting overused. all in all, its a decent track. the biggest problem i have with it and, in extention your music, is the same as with thefatrat - you dont belong on this website. both you and thefatrat are professional producers and Newgrounds, a place that new producers with no footing or grasp for the industry, is not the right medium for producers such as yourself. it feels like a hungry pig in a pen full of piglets, hogging all the slop and not thinking about the lowest common denominator. i dont want to come off as a hater and i respect your music, i want to tell you now before you get too big here that this unprofessional website isnt the right place to sell your professional music, because if you keep going its going to be a huge blow to new producers who need the attention. please dont become like that.

Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I read it all.

I only post here due to popular demand. There is 0 intentional marketing strategy in posting to Newgrounds, and it's just a way I can be nice to listeners by uploading where they'd like me to (apparently it's required in order for them to use it in Geometry Dash).

I disagree with your idea, however, that one should limit their own success somehow, so that someone else can take some of their place. Only a year ago I had 0 followers anywhere, and I wouldn't blame people who were successful at that time for my own state of not being successful. Secondly this idea only works if there's a limit to the amount of attention a listener could give, but there isn't. The amount of views I would get does not take away from the potential views of someone else, because views on a track are not in a limited amount and nor is the amount of producers someone can enjoy. Does listening to me on Newgrounds affect your ability (or potential) to also be a fan of someone with less success?
I take a lot of what you said as a compliment, but still wanted to point out that the idea does not make a lot of sense, and to correct your idea of why I'm here in the first place.

I will continue to post on Newgrounds as long as there is a demand for it. When fans no longer ask me to post here I will no longer upload to it. I only do it as an act of service to others in the first place.

honestly, well done man; youve captured the feel of those soundtracks perfectly :3
